Our students has been using 10 years old computers donated from our sponsors for our CAD/CAM work. However, their design gets more complex, the load on these computers gets worst and worst. Sometimes, our students would have to change their design because it was too complex and our current computers cannot support rendering them. CAD/CAM is important because it allow our students to quickly test their design by using our new CNC machine to prototype their CAD design. With the entire process in house, this allows our student to validate their ideals without having to wait days/weeks for outside vendors.
