I teach in an inner city school that has over 80% of our students on free or reduced lunch. But no matter the difficulties my students face their drive and determination astounds me. The students love to be challenged and they have become great leaders in the school. The students come from many different backgrounds and cultures and the students thrive on the diversity here. Many of the students come from homes were they are now more educated than their parents and the students understand how important their education is. Many of them are going to be the first in their families to go to college and they have set this as their goal. As teachers in this school, we will do everything we can to make sure this goal is achieved.

About my class
