I work in an inner-city school. My students are from low income households and most of them receive free and reduced price meals for breakfast and lunch each day. My scholars are curious, silly, loving, kids who enjoy coming to school every day to learn, despite the challenges they often encounter. Most of my scholars face many challenges and hardships from their environment but they still come to school with a positive attitude. For a lot of students, our school is a place where they feel safe and loved. Our staff works as a team to ensure that our scholars are provided with the best possible education. We love our students and do everything we can to have a positive influence on their lives in hopes to guide them to make the best choices for their future.
