Flexible seating is a MUST in my classroom. Currently students can choose where in the classroom they want to work, and I've seen this simple choice spark so much motivation and increase productivity, especially in reading and math! A student who is a struggling reader will suddenly light up when they get their favorite comfy corner! In first grade we play a lot of math games, these are best played at the carpet with lots of space to count and move game pieces! These creative kids deserve a classroom that is flexible and fits all of their unique needs & learning styles. The wobble stools and wiggle seats will benefit all students who struggle to sit still or focus as it allows them the freedom to move their bodies and engage core muscles. The beanbag chairs are a big favorite for independent or partner reading. All the seating options are lightweight and can be moved anywhere in the room to provide even more options!
