Students in my special education program use the Check In Check Out (CICO) system to self-monitor their behavior in their general education classes throughout the school day. As their special education case manager, I then also use this data to track student behavior, progress and IEP goals. The tablets will be used in conjunction with Google Forms and Google Drive. Students will give each teacher their tablet at the end of class to track their daily progress in the areas of Mature, Responsible, Honest and Safe. Students will then analyze their data weekly to set behavior goals and celebrate success.
