The composition notebooks will be used daily to create interactive notebooks for each class. These will have sections for whole class activities like foldables and diagrams, as well as areas for personal vocabulary development and written reflections. Students seem to treasure these even after leaving my class. Interactive notebooks give students a sense of ownership and allow for creative expression. Dictionaries will be used as a resource to students when they come across a word they do not understand in the texts we read and discuss in class. Headphones will be used to view videos and work on creating presentations with sound on individual devices. The remaining resources will be used frequently to enhance the learning of my students. With the majority being ELL, it is essential that I support them with audio and visual learning tools such as anchor charts or videos.
