Kindergarten should be fun! Dynamic play is so important to early learners. That's why the requested puppet theater will allow students to work on oral communication, storytelling, and friendship making--all through play!! All manipulatives requested will help students grasp conceptual ideas using concrete materials in Language Arts or Mathematics. Students who can see, hear, touch and play with materials learn concepts quickly and retain concepts. In an effort to create a fun, engaging and welcoming classroom, decor materials in a woodland theme have been requested. The importance of a classroom theme may seem minimal, but when little 5-year-old students can't remember what classroom number they are in, they may remember the small red fox on the door. Lastly, classroom organizational tools will allow for ease in leveled reading groups and less confusion for the little kids.
