Many of my students will come into school unable to write. Im requesting a writing desk because I feel they need a GREAT writing center to help them create their amazing thoughts. The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of and competency in authentic, meaningful writing. Organization is a skill that is often overlooked. Since my students don't have regular desks, I'm requesting seat sacks so my students can become more independent and gain organizational skills. The caddy's will used to support my students with extra supplies at each desk. Since most students come to school with limited supplies, I like to give them extra on the table. I feel this eliminates the embarrassed they might feel when they don't have something they need.
