At Reeds Spring High School our goal is to develop leaders who are skilled, driven, analytical, and believe in serving their community. We do this by teaching leadership skills, raising awareness to the hardships in our community, and creating service projects to help those in need. Our district feeds into 5 separate communities and has a serious gap between high and low income families. Our high school has over 600 students and is just shy of 60% free and reduced lunch. The vision for our class is to build a student run business that operates in our school and community. Its purpose is to raise money and give it back to people who need it by granting to our schools and nonprofits. Our students will learn and use 21st century skills like business and money management, principles of marketing, and connecting to their community through our service.
