Gossler is an elementary school in a small city. Over 75% of the families at Gossler are on government assistance. This make asking parents for help in purchasing supplies difficult. The parents want to see their children succeed and become remarkable citizens. As their afterschool enrichment teacher I want to see this happen. The students in the school come from all types of backgrounds. We have many bilingual students in our school as well as many students with developmental delays. These are only two reasons why the afterschool program is important to this school and why creating a space where children can explore and create freely is so important. Please help the loving and caring students at this school have a Makerspace they can call their own.
