Our team of ESL teachers serve over 70 ESL students in a school of about 400, spanning 15 different languages. Our students speak Spanish, Hindi, Telugu, Arabic, Chinese, Vietnamese, Nepali, Marathi, Russian, Gujarati, Tigrinya,Tamil, Urdu, and Creole. We have many beginner students (Levels 1 and 2) from Kindergarten to 5th grade. Many of our ESL students do not have computers at home or do not have access to on-line services so the tablets would allow them to get additional practice during school hours. Our school is located in an urban area with a very diverse population. Minority enrollment is over 60% which is higher than the state average. Over half of our total student population receives free or reduced lunch.
