I am very passionate about teaching and my students are the best students in the world. Unfortunately they do not always get what they deserve due to lack of resources. My school is Title 1 and has a high percentage of students who are living in poverty or don't speak English as a first language. We work hard with what we have, but often aren't afforded the same opportunities as other schools in the district. Many students come to school without school supplies at the beginning of the year. Our parents are dedicated and give what they can when they can. The students have an excitement for learning and strive for success in everything they do. They take pride in their work and work miracles with what they have.
