My students enjoy checking out from our classroom library so much. They enjoy having that choice on what they are going to read during our independent reading time and they are excited to take books home to read. One of our bookshelves is a bit too high for some of my students to reach the top shelf. I love how the Carolina Book Bench has that bottom shelf so my little ones have easy access to the books. My students also love reading in our library! Unfortunately, we do not have a lot comfortable seating in our library. This book bench will allow students to read comfortably in our library. My hope is that having this fun resource in our classroom will make our library more inviting and will make students more eager to read.
