I am fortunate enough to work with 80 rather spectacular little Gifted & Talented and ESL cherubs in grades K-5. I get to help them explore their curiosities and pursue their passions through "Genius Hour" and as G/T students work through the Texas Performance Standards Project over the course of a year in a classroom pull-out program. Our school opened in 1981, in a rapidly growing, suburban Houston community. We began as the smallest elementary in our district, but soon became one of the largest! Currently, we have around 700 amazing little minds and more than 70 extraordinary ATPE staff members!

About my class
