Model hearts will teach kids what a human heart looks like in 3D! They will be able to identify the anatomy, as well as, the path blood flows through the heart. They will be able to visualize location of valves, size of chambers and vessels of the heart. Using manipulatives and creating student owned models help students to visualize content better than paper and pen can! The protein synthesis model will help students visualize a process in cells that can be hard to imagine. The felt, pipe cleaners and magnets will be used for students to create models of their learning for recombinant DNA, karyotypes and cell division. Students will be able to make learning their own!
