There are a variety of reasons that my students and district are special, though I could be biased! I have the privileged of working in a district that is completely student centered and "human centered" as I like to call it. The district truly supports projects and initiatives to bring an engaging learning experience to students from every walk of life. The student population that we serve is unique and diverse presenting a vibrant yet challenging environment. Many of our students come from a low socio-economic background and do not have many of the luxuries that others take for granted.We do our best to not only feed, clothe and nurture our students but to also give them many opportunities.
