Bienvenidos! Welcome to my classroom. I teach Dual Language in 4th grade at Edward Gonzales Elementary School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I have the honor and privilege of working with amazing, brilliant students. Our schools student population falls into a high poverty rate, where the majority of the students rely on government assistance for most of their basic needs. My students on daily basis have to deal with hardships from home as well as with their learning during the school year. Most of them are at a disadvantage when it comes to technology, literacy, and mathematical support in their home environment. One of my goals and strong passion is to provide them with the tools and support they require to become the lawyers, doctors, architects and future educators. Help make this a reality.
