The students at our school are of lower SES and many single guardian homes. To ask them to purchase these calculators would be unreasonable but they are necessary in learning to function as healthy citizens in our world. Knowing how to do simple math and making good choices based on that math is so important in life. Teaching these kids how to use math is my passion and I am hopeful that these calculators will lead them in the right direction when it comes to being contributing members of society. Thank you in advance for funding the love math in Manhattan KS!
