My students are going to have some awesome opportunities to collaborate globally with students of their same ages. We will be running a TED-Ed Club where students will be researching issues in areas they want to promote change. They will share their Ted Talks live with other Ted-Ed Clubs around the world. They will also use Google apps to design projects with other students in the Wichita Public School District. Having multiple Chromebooks in our classroom would allow the time with students to be used really efficiently and creatively. They wouldn't have to wait for loading time on old tech or have to travel out of the classroom to access tech in another part of the building. They could focus on their thought processes for their projects and taking them to the next level.
