I have the pleasure to teach all students at my school, Pre-K through 5th grade. My average class size is 75 students at one time. Students come to me eager to learn new skills. As much as they love PE, I am not sure that many of them are too active outside of school. Therefore, it is very important that the students are moving as much as possible during their time with me. Physical Education can be the beginning of livelong exercise, if the students realize the benefits of how it helps all aspects of their life. I love PE, because it gives me the chance to get to know students and push them to achieve things that they may not think that they can do. There are many opportunities in class to teach students how to treat others with respect. They also learn to work together as a team towards reaching a goal. So far, my students have proven that they can accomplish anything if they TRY.
