I teach 6th-8th grade band, and currently have over 170 students in the organization. We have a wonderfully diverse group of students who all bring unique qualities to the band program. My classroom is located in South Texas, an area that was seriously impacted by Hurricane Harvey. A little over a year later, my students and community are still feeling the effects of this disaster on a daily basis. Despite this, my students never fail to inspire me with their dedication and hard work. They are amazing!

About my class
