My students are very eager 6 year olds at a low income school with an high ELL population that always have a smile on their face and are ready for the day's adventures. Kennedy is one of OPS's highest-poverty schools. Ninety-seven percent of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. These student's amaze me everyday with what they pick up from the previous days. I am so proud of my students and I know you would be too! At Kennedy we are revamping the school for the fall with being a participant of the 75 North project with a heavy focus on science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM). Kennedy is part of a fellowship with Purpose Built Schools based out of Atlanta.
