Thank you for taking an interest in my project. The purpose of this project is to add necessary materials such as books, project items, and more. I am currently a 10th grade English teacher in Sylmar, CA. Sylmar is a special place because it is my very own hometown. I returned to Sylmar Charter High School (I am an alumnus) both because of my passion for literacy and learning and because I wanted to give back to my community. My hometown is considered a low-income community. Over 90% of students at my school qualify for free or reduced lunch. Please be a part of my journey by helping me provide books and other fun materials for students! Thank you so much for choosing to be a part of this!
