Two upper level female students will be nominated by their teachers to be the first to receive a telescope package and cell phone mount holder. The kits will be on loan to the girls for a couple of weeks after attending an online workshop on how to set up and use the telescope. The teacher will be using the third one for instruction and support. Once they are confident, they will be tasked with sharing how to use the telescope with their younger siblings and adults in the house. The girls will share photos of the stars, planets, moon and possible the International Space Station and inspire additional girls to be the next to borrow the telescopes. The IF/THEN collection will be shared and I will photograph our new school astronomy leaders.
