Our site is a personalized learning school. Students create learner profiles where they discover their learning style and preference. The purpose is to capture each student's skills, strength, challenges, interests, passions, and aspirations. Within their profile, students set academic and personal goals. Using the information gathered and set within the learner profile, my students then follow a plan that gets revisited throughout the school year. With the use of a Sprocket printer, I would like for my students to document their progress through photos that they can then use to reflect on their learning. The photos would be an added visual that will allow even my non-English speakers to monitor and reflect on their learning. During parent conferences and Open House, students will proudly share and show their parents evidence of their individualized goal setting and accomplishments. These Personalized plans are monitored, reflected upon and revised throughout the school year.
