We are a Title I, free lunch eligible school in NYC serving an international population, many of whom are first generation Americans. The richness of our diversity offers our students multicultural perspectives in one of the greatest cities in the world. Our students see education as the opportunity to advance their lives in every way, and so we feel responsible for providing them with a first rate 21st century learning environment. This includes learning science with the best resources available so that our students can be competitive as they advance through the grades. In our school the students speak many languages reflecting a wealth of global perspectives that more than compensate for today's financial constraints. This diverse community of learners values the sciences and appreciates the innovations and advances that technology and science bring to the classroom.
