Our students want to contribute and participate in the community like everyone else. For them, learning new things and working with technology takes a great deal of practice and support. Having access to a copier in their classroom will help our students develop a variety of functional life skills. Providing a copy service for teachers will support our students' social-emotional development as they make valuable contributions to their community. Currently, our students share a copier with the department office, where they lack support of a teacher to guide them through problem solving technical issues. Having access to the copier in the classroom will allow the teacher to support students through the process of diagnosing and fixing jams and errors.
