I teach half day kindergarten, so I have two classes of adorable 5-6 year olds. They come from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Many are English Language Learners, some starting school with absolutely no English skills. Our school recently lost our Title I status, and though the demographics are the same, we no longer have the extra funding to help provide students with quality materials that aid in their academic enjoyment and success.

About my class
