I have an amazing, hardworking class of students who take on each and every day and persevere no matter what obstacles are in their way. With your support, we can help these students achieve more than I could alone. Most of my students are English Language Learners and are not yet proficient in English, which is one of the reasons I want to focus on more interactive ways of learning to help reinforce their education. They are intrigued by science and love to do activities that require them to use their hands and discover new things. Many are also socio-economically disadvantaged, but regardless of this they work hard and come to school everyday with a positive and ambitious attitude to reach the goals we set out to accomplish together.
