Welcome to Lied STEM Academy! Our students have chosen to be a part an amazing opportunity, one which allows them to get the hands-on learning they crave through our STEM based courses. The students in my classroom come from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds but all come with very inquisitive minds and a love of learning. These students also come to school with many of the challenges of living in the Las Vegas community which is unique in and of itself. In my classroom I try to provide my students with a place that feels comfortable for them to learn, a place where they are free to express themselves, and a place where they will learn to love science and all of the amazingness that comes with it!
