My children attend a title 1 school where 97% of the kids are on free and reduced lunch. 75% of the class speaks only Spanish at home, so getting help on homework or reading with someone is nearly impossible. My children love to learn but because they have a difficult time finding reading materials that they understand and can use independently makes them frustrated.
