My students come from all over the city with different needs and limited resources. Having the laptops and wireless printer will allow them to practice working collaboratively as well as independently on their assignments, allowing instant feedback from peers and myself and presenting a final product that they otherwise would not have access to. This will help maintain order by allowing the students to focus on their goals, work together and be proud of their accomplishments. My school is entering its fifth year, and recently received its charter, and is currently a 6-10 school, adding a grade level each year. Opportunities for family members to engage in daily classroom lessons and applications to enhance personal knowledge and develop viable and employable skills is strongly encouraged. Internships and apprenticeships with local green industries and companies are a valued part of our program.
