Each class begins with a meeting in the front of the room to discuss topics in science that are relevant to student learning for the day, the week, or the trimester. We also discuss how what we are learning in science relates to their personal lives, their dreams, and what they observe around them. These discussions, whole group lessons with the SMART board, and small group meetings would benefit from a carpet which provides a comfortable place to sit and learn. Donations to this project will show these spectacular scientists that people in our greater community are committed to helping them achieve their goals by providing them equal opportunities for learning and exploring in a safe creative environment.

About my class
