I am requesting supplies for my classroom because we are low funded county that needs all resources that they can get. Majority of them do not have access to these items at home to help them learn, and to have them in the classroom would be a great addition to the limited resources that we have. My students can use the carpet requested to have a comfortable seating area during whole group time. They also use this carpet when they are out in reading to their classmates and themselves. These items will make a difference in my students life because it will give them extra encouragement to want to learn; having nice things in their possession will make them appreciate them more.
