Coming in on the first day of school, I noticed our limited supply of P.E. equipment right away. I came to find out that our school has a new P.E. teacher every year, if not every semester. It shows the lack of commitment to our P.E. program, and that's something I'm trying to change. The equipment we are requesting is basic things that almost every P.E. program should have. As of now, we have a total of 6 basketballs. We are just about to get into our basketball unit, and it would be very beneficial for each student to be able to use their own basketball. Also, we've requested a big clock that will sit in our center window of the gym. This can be used for multiple tasks, and students would really benefit from having this. The rest of the equipment we've requested are basic things that can be used throughout the school year for different games and activities, such as pinnies and a Cando Noodle Exercise Set.
