When I walked into my classroom to set up for the new year, my rug was missing! The classroom rug is an essential part of our room and is something which I use every day. We need a safe, clean, and comfortable space to meet as a class. Many different things take place on the rug, including mini-lessons, circle time, music time, and class discussions. The classroom rug is a great place for learning to take place because it fosters discussions and helps create a sense of community that desks and chairs almost never can. By helping us acquire a rug, you help get students out of their seats, help students get talking, and provide our classroom with a cozy place where both community building and academic learning can take place. Thank you!
