The requested supplies will work well with materials I have previously acquired to build a new interactive learning zone in my classroom. Here students will manipulate magnetic pieces on the 8 foot magnetic white board and utilized the colored dry erase markers to collaboratively practice mathematical concepts in learning stations. One of the most accepted recent understandings of learning styles is that they fall into three categories: Visual Learners, Auditory Learners and Kinesthetic Learners. This learning station will allow all students the opportunity to see, speak, listen, and do; thus increase the likelihood they will ultimately master the learning objectives each week.
