I have 120 very energetic 5/6 students that travel to my room throughout a normal learning day. We are located outside of Flint, Michigan and one of the few schools that offers free breakfast for EVERY student in our building. Many students come to school with struggles that no one could imagine. I try to provide a safe environment for these learners while they are at their 'home away from home.' My room is a consistent, stable environment for them. Even though they come from different backgrounds, they have a common love and desire to become better learners.

About my class
