Having two Chromebooks for my students will provide more opportunities to provide 21st-century learning opportunities. Students will be able to learn how to effectively communicate and collaborate electronically with each other. Special Education students will be able to access Chromebooks to help with language arts, math, reading, phonics, and writing assignments. Students who struggle to conventionally write their assignments will be able to use a chromebook to type their writing assignments instead. This alone will help them gain confidence in their writing ability. Personalized learning occurs when students can work on specific math skills on Zearn, and practice math fact fluency with other programs like Reflex Math. Donating to this project will help my urban, less privileged students from diverse backgrounds have opportunities that they might not otherwise have access to. My students will be more prepared for their future by being a part of a 21st century classroom.
