I teach a great group of sixth grade students, many who only have access to computers at school. The students' use of the computer lab at school is limited to one 45 minute block per week, not nearly enough time to incorporate authentic learning via technology across the content areas with due justice. In society today, most young adults will be required to use personal computers. It is my goal to introduce them to numerous applications that they will inevitably be using in the future. As a result, they will have many doors opened for them due to their broad knowledge and experiences on the road into adulthood.
