Kids love the idea of a class pet! Code & Go Robot Mouse includes a programmable mouse named Colby. Learning Resources says students can "program the sequence of steps, and then watch Colby race to find the cheese!" This is one smart class pet! We will use Colby to dive into coding and computer programming in all subject areas. Students can draw maps and help Colby find his way. Students can make matching games for vocabulary and program Colby to "find" the right answers to math problems. We can even use Colby to learn about the needs and wants of class pets! The Sterilite storage containers will be used to safely store our class pet when we are not teaching him new "tricks."
