My students need good quality paint to be able to create artwork without feeling limited by their media. In my classes, I stress creativity as much as possible and allow students to develop their own projects. As such, they always have the option to paint. Because of this, we quickly run out of paint, and I find myself having to ration their materials. By providing a supply of paint, students won't have to worry about running out of blue or white halfway through a project. These basic paint sets will allow students to mix infinite colors to use in any number of projects throughout the year. Students will be able to stretch their ideas and create artworks of varying sizes, explore content that matters to them, and find a way to express their voice through art. For many students, this is the only exposure they have to art and art supplies, and I want to be able to provide them with the fullest possible experience before they leave high school.
