I will be entering my 10th year as a middle school science teacher in an urban school district. I am very lucky to have the opportunity to work with such a diverse group of students every day. Many of my students live in poverty and 100% of them receive free breakfast and lunch. There is a very high population of students who are English Learners and who receive special education services. My students persevere through any challenge they face and are deserving of the best education they can possibly get. We do not always have access to the materials that my students need to show what they are truly capable of. I have very high expectations for my students and I know they can succeed with your support!
