My students are using an interactive notebook in US history and they need art supplies to tailor their learning for their needs. Students will use color and and creativity to highlight the new knowledge they are gaining in class. The colored pencils will help them to add the emphasis needed on specific pages in their books. The glue and scissors will allow them to keep the information they are handed in class in place. The plastic envelopes will help us to keep all of our supplies neat, organized and in one place. The interactive notebook is sort of "make it yourself" study guide. The information that students put into the book is what is going to help them succeed in gaining new knowledge and retaining the information to make connections to the world around them. These arts supplies will enhance my students' experiences and make their Interactive Notebook a successful process in their learning career.
