I am fortunate to live in a county which provides one-on-one technology, so students in my class have individual iPads to use for school work, however, accessories are not provided. Earbuds will allow them to focus on their own lesson, without the distraction of hearing others' iPads around the classroom. Most of my students cannot afford to provide earbuds, and those who have them got them from the dollar store and are falling apart. Having the necessary tools will allow my third graders to be more efficient in their use of technology in the classroom and more successful in their assignments.
