I Teach business entrepreneurship and computer science at Nightingale Middle School. This is a rare opportunity for students in the neighborhood around Nightingale. Most of my students are of Hispanic or Asian descent, and 100% of them receive free or reduced lunch at our school. During class, my students use Chromebooks to practice coding. They learn block programming and some basic computer science languages like Java Script to build android apps and video games. Some students find computer science and business concepts a bit difficult. I want to make sure that everyone is engaged, and feels motivated to continue learning. I am requesting interactive class materials to engage students and provide a fun ways to interact with technology.
