A lot of my students are struggling readers. They are discovering that fact that they are learning how to read and it amazes them. My students like to sing songs and enjoy when a book is read to them. They like a variety of activities which is why they love doing centers. They also like the small reading groups because they get to compete against each other and get m&m's. Our school has an after school program where they get to do even more fun activities that they enjoying doing while learning at the same time.
