Have you ever lost your cell phone, laptop, or other expensive electronic device? My students want to keep others from experiencing this emotional and financial pain. The Adafruit Circuit Playground Express will help them do just that! The colored lights, speaker, and proximity sensor on this device can be programmed to sound an alarm whenever a person walks too far away from their laptop; therefore, keeping them from leaving it behind as they move from place to place. My students want to learn how to use today's technology to create a better future for themselves and others. This is just one way they can meet this goal. Your donation will provide them with an opportunity to learn how technology works and the myriad of ways it can be used to solve problems. The programming skills they learn will expose them to new careers and put them on track to become valuable employees.
