Many students in our classroom (and school) face challenges in their everyday lives. When they come to school they want a safe, welcoming environment. Flexible seating allows students to not be ashamed of who they are! Some students just need more movement than other students to be thriving in the learning environment. Students who are comfortable are much more likely to be actively engaged. During independent work time, students get the power of choice in their seats. They are happier and more willing to persevere when given the opportunity to move around the room with their group members. I think these seat options will be incredibly beneficial for our classroom. I would love your assistance in our student-centered classroom!

About my class
