Every day, I get to step into a classroom filled with a beautifully diverse group of students who are bursting with life and an eager appetite for discovery. They thrive on hands-on learning, always asking what exciting challenge we are tackling next. As a Title I campus, we serve a community where economic hardships are a daily reality, and my students often carry that adult stress into the classroom. This is especially true in third grade, where they face the intense transition from learning to read to reading to learn. My deepest hope is to clear a path for their lifelong success by maintaining exceptionally high standards. To turn that hope into reality, I urgently need specialized resources that provide an equitable, level playing field.
